Studio Rental
Artists at all stages of their career can rent studio time at St. Michael’s Printshop. Typically, artists will have experience, training, or have taken a workshop in at least one form of printmaking if they are going to rent at SMP. For first-time renters of the printshop we offer a technical orientation and tour of the printshop, to help get you settled in. Get in touch if you have questions, contact.

STUDIO RENTAL RATES:
Once you have acquired your annual membership, studio rental rates for working independently in the shop are as follows:

Looking to learn a new process but don’t see any workshops for it? Feeling rusty on a technique? Email us to inquire about mentorships! With one-to-one mentorship, we match you to one of our artist members to provide personalized instruction in the technique you require.

SLIDING SCALE ACCESS:
If studio rental costs are a barrier to your ability to access the studio, sliding scale options are available. Please email us to learn more. Funds raised from our Pay-It-Forward Membership are available to those who request financial assistance.

SPECIAL GROUP RATES:
Available on a case-by-case basis for organizations or groups looking for team building or special events like private workshops for adults and youth.

DISCOUNT FOR YOUTH:
For those ages 18 to 30, we offer a 15% discount on all rental fees. To access the discount, please email us to request a coupon code that can be applied at the checkout of our online store.
