Intermediate Screenprinting Workshop: Repeat Pattern Workshop with Kym Greeley
Saturday Afternoons – February 6th, 13th and 20th. 2-5pm
Cost: $115/members +HST ($132.25)
Students will come to the workshop with a basic knowledge and interest of repeat pattern making. Students will create a repeat pattern design from found objects, cut paper or digital separations (participants wishing to use digital components, must have a strong knowledge and know-how in photoshop and or illustrator programs).
This series will be taught in person but is limited to 3 participants to ensure everyone can be safely distanced.
SMP will provide screens, squeegees, emulsion, transparencies, paper (some fabric) and ink.
The reduced cost of these workshops is partially subsidized through an ArtsNL special project grant.
COVID-19 Safety Guidelines: Everyone is required to wear a mask at this event (unless certain health conditions prevent you from wearing one). Masks will be provided if you don’t have one already. Upon entering the space, visitors will be asked three self-health evaluation questions and be requested to sanitize their hands with the provided hand sanitizer. Instructions from staff/volunteers will help participants navigate the space safely, keeping 2m/6ft apart from others. Any materials that will be provided for use will be sanitized prior to the event. If, before the event, you begin to experience new symptoms such as a new/worsening cough, fever, chills, muscle aches, sore throat, headache or gastrointestinal issues, please stay home and self-isolate. If you have travelled outside of the Atlantic bubble or have been around someone who has travelled outside of the Atlantic bubble within the last 14 days, please self-isolate.
