Anyone and everyone is welcome!

There will be food and drinks, but feel free to bring something to share!

As some of you may know, we announced earlier this year that we were introducing a new Print Collector Club here at SMP!

What does that mean?

Well, with a limited membership of just 20 people, the Collector’s Club gives its members access to an exclusive print by a renowned local artist – a print that, in fact, is ONLY available to members of the club. This year’s artist is Will Gill, and we are happy to unveil his gorgeous print “Blue World” as the very first Collector’s Club print!

Will Gill, Blue World

In addition to owning this beautiful work, Club members receive the following benefits:

  • An invitation to the exclusive annual Collectors Club Reception and official launch of the commission print (to be held in January, 2016).
  • A limited edition, hand printed membership card.
  • A copy of our publication, Printmaking on the Edge, signed by author and curator, Kevin Major.
  • Advanced opportunity to get your membership to this select club for the upcoming season.

We are excited to launch this year’s Don Wright Scholarship show!

is a series of prints that explore Canadian identity, master narratives, and cultural spectacle within a Newfoundland context. The work draws from Amery’s personal experiences as an artist from the mainland, and investigates juxtaposed symbols of an island paradise versus the reality of living on an island in the North Atlantic.
