Teresa Kachanoski

Teresa Kachanoski’s art practice has ranged from life drawing classes in Montreal in the 70’s to landscape painting workshops at Emma Lake in the late 90’s and has been enriched through raising a family. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Alberta in 2005 and became intrigued by the range of possibilities offered by printmaking which can combine early technologies with the latest digital applications. She was the president of SNAP gallery, an artist-run printmaking workshop and exhibition space in Edmonton.

Currently, Kachanoski is the chair of the board of directors of the Visual Artist Newfoundland and Labrador organization in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
